Applying

Applying to attend SUSSP67 will proceed in two stages. The first stage will begin the 1st December 2010 when applications open via an application form on this website. Eligible applicants who register before the 28th February 2011 will be considered for bursaries to offset the cost of the full fee.  These bursaries are intended to assist PhD students and young researchers. The full fee for the School, which includes meals and accommodation, will be £950. QESSENCE network students may be eligible for further support from QESSENCE. Industrial and other non-academic applicants are welcome.

In the second stage, a decision on the bursaries will be made and communicated to applicants by the 31st March 2011. The payment system will be ready soon for accepting fees. Accepted applicants should receive shortly an emails detailing the level of bursary, the fee payable, and a link to the payments page. Please bear with us while we finalise the arrangements for accepting payment. Payment of the outstanding part of the fee will confirm a place at the School. For bursary recipients, if this has not occurred by the 30th April 2011, then the bursary may be allocated to another applicant.

There are a limited number of places at the School so applications outwith this schedule will be considered subject to availability.
